Casey Kaigler, front, and Katie Moore, both eighth-graders from Cove, scrape glue from the frame of a photographic display at the Union Museum Saturday. The pair joined nearly 100 4-H members from six counties participating in the 19th annual Eastern Oregon Leadership Retreat. Groups performed needed work at the Union cemetery, the United Methodist Church, the athletic complex, the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show grounds and the museum. The retreat is organized and planned by the students with the goal of building leadership skills through community projects.
