LA GRANDE GOLF GIRLS FOURTH AT BAKER INVITE

The Tiger girls golfers came in second behind Pendleton at the Baker Invitational Wednesday.

Pendleton's score of 386 topped the six other teams from Hermiston, Ontario, Vale, Baker, Burns and La Grande.

The La Grande girls scored a 416, behind Bess Buzzard's 97, which was good for fourth.

Elizabeth Esser shot a 99, Elizabeth Garton a 107, Aubrey Glaze a 113, and Kira Tao a 119 for the varsity. Kashel Craft, Chih-Ling Chang, and Kendra Groves played junior varsity.

Anna Jaramillo of Ontario was medalist with a score of 84.

The La Grande junior varsity will play at Enterprise, in the Wallowa Invitational Friday and at Wildhorse, in Pendleton at a pre-district meet Monday.
