A trio of Powder Valley football players will be participating in the State 8-Man All-Star game Saturday at Linfield College in McMinnville.

Seniors Danny Kerns, Rusty Fincher and Brad Feik are playing for the East squad. Kerns will play defense, while Fincher and Feik will play guard and on the defensive line.

In addition, Powder Valley quarterback Todd Baxter will be participating in a football camp next weekend in Spokane. Baxter is a junior.

The Badgers went to the state semifinals last season, losing to eventual champion St. Paul.

Powder Valley returns most of its skill players this year, but the Badgers must replace most of their offensive and defensive lines because of the graduation of Feik and Fincher.
