GOLFERS PARTICIPATE IN 4-PERSON SCRAMBLE

UNION — Sixteen teams participated in the 2nd Annual Benchwarmers/TNT Hideout Saloon 4-Person Scramble at Buffalo Peak Golf Course Sunday.

The winners were Ken Michrina, Jim Bauer, Robert Moore, Beau Willadsen and John Ryan. They shot a 60 and received $300.

Second place went to Lloyd Gage, Jay Farrell, Mark Disotell and Greg Thompson. They shot a 61 and received $200.

There was a two-way tie for third place. The team of Jim Haubner, Claudette Haubner, Steve Simonis and Les Stuplich shot a 63. Matt Scarfo, Tony Haddock, Pepper Maxon and Kalley Martin also ended up with a 63. Both teams received $75.

Jamie Falconer won the putting contest (6 1/4"), Robert Moore won the closest to the pin hole" (Hole #15), Jake Hanson won the men's long drive (Hole #2) and Pepper Maxon won the ladies long drive (Hole #2). Each received $50.

Cam Abbott and Mike Harshfield got $25 each for winning the bed pan chipping contest.
