The La Grande boys improved to 4-0 in the Greater Oregon League after an 81-34 basketball victory over Burns in a make-up game Tuesday.

La Grande remains unbeaten in the Greater Oregon League at 4-0, tied for first with Ontario.

Ben Pettit's dunk off a pass from Rick Anderson with 45.4 seconds remaining gave the Tigers a 28-5 lead after the first quarter.

La Grande coach Aaron Mills said it was nice to get everyone into the game and have them score.

He said they talked before the game about "taking care of business" and the Tigers did just that.

Anderson led the Tigers with 14 points, followed by Tyler Tucker with 12 including three 3-pointers and Christian Siltanen's 10. Siltanen hit a pair of 3-pointers.

Luke Benafel paced the Hilanders with 12 points.

The Tigers (7-6 overall) will look to extend their five-game win streak at Vale Friday. They host Ontario Saturday in what will likely be a battle for first place.
