POWELL, Wyo. Five games, five blowouts.

The La Grande Rain Roofing baseball team completed its remarkable run Tuesday night, dispatching the Burlington (Wash.) Red Sox 14-4 in eight innings and winning the American Legion Baseball Northwest Class A Regional Tournament.

Rain Roofing played five games at the regional tournament and won all five by 10 runs. None of the scheduled nine-inning games lasted that long.

Burlington fell victim twice. The Red Sox also lost 15-5 in seven innings Sunday.

La Grandes Tanner Abel had a home run among his three hits and three RBIs; he also stole two bases. La Grande players stole six bases in the game, including two from Drew Fischer.

La Grande pitcher Corey Royal got the win, giving up 10 hits but only one walk and striking out three.

La Grandes Shane Slover was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Zach Glasser also had two RBIs.

Other details of the game were unavailable as the team was traveling home this morning.
