Public notices for the day of April 8, 2011 TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE Loan No: xxx3747 T.S. No.: 1295596-09. Reference is made to that certain deed made by Lester W. Prince, as Grantor to Eastern Oregon Title, as Trustee, in favor of Gateway Financial Services., as Beneficiary, dated August 08, 2002, recorded August 16, 2002, in official records of Union, Oregon in book/reel/volume No. xx at page No. xx, fee/file/Instrument/ microfilm/reception No. 20024737 covering the following described real property situated in said County and State, to-wit: Commencing at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of southwest quarter of section 19 in township 4 south, range 40 east of the willamette meridian, Union county, oregon; running thence east along the south line of said northwest quater of southwest quarter a distance of 448 feet; thence north 195 feet; thence west 448 feet; thence south 195 feet to the point of beginning. Commonly known as: 1490 South 3rd Street Union Or 97883. Both the beneficiary and the trustee have elected to sell the said real property to satisfy the obligations secured by said trust deed and notice has been recorded pursuant to Section 86.735(3) of Oregon Revised Statutes: the default for which the foreclosure is made is the grantor°òs: Failure to pay the monthly payment due june 1, 2010 of principal and interest and subsequent installments due thereafter; plus late charges; together with all subsequent sums advanced by beneficiary pursuant to the terms and conditions of said deed of trust. PLAN AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session, April 20, 2011, 10:30 a.m., Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1106 "K" Ave., La Grande, will consider the Union County Planning Commission’s March 28, 2011 recommendation to approve a Plan Amendment application submitted by Bill Weatherspoon, Trustee & Cody Hindman, agent, to include a 5 acre nonsignificant site on the County’s Basalt Aggregate Inventory. The property is located east of Chumos Road, about 9 miles southeast of the City of Elgin and is described as Twp. 1S, Range 40 EWM, Tax Lot 300 and Twp. 1N, Range 40 EWM, Tax Lot 8200, approximately 686.27 acres, in an A-4 Timber Grazing Zone.
The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in OAR 660-023-0180(4) & (6) and Section 23.05 of the Union County Zoning, Partition and Subdivision Ordinance. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue.

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of North Powder, Union County, State of Oregon to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012 will be held at the Wolf Creek Grange, 215 E Street, North Powder, OR  97867.  The meeting will take place on April 26, 2011 at 6:30PM.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 26, 2011 at North Powder City Hall, 635 3rd Street, between the hours of 8:30AM and 12:30PM.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
