Public notices for the day of April 22, 2011 TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE Loan No: xxx3747 T.S. No.: 1295596-09. Reference is made to that certain deed made by Lester W. Prince, as Grantor to Eastern Oregon Title, as Trustee, in favor of Gateway Financial Services., as Beneficiary, dated August 08, 2002, recorded August 16, 2002, in official records of Union, Oregon in book/reel/volume No. xx at page No. xx, fee/file/Instrument/ microfilm/reception No. 20024737 covering the following described real property situated in said County and State, to-wit: Commencing at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of southwest quarter of section 19 in township 4 south, range 40 east of the willamette meridian, Union county, oregon; running thence east along the south line of said northwest quater of southwest quarter a distance of 448 feet; thence north 195 feet; thence west 448 feet; thence south 195 feet to the point of beginning. Commonly known as: 1490 South 3rd Street Union Or 97883. Both the beneficiary and the trustee have elected to sell the said real property to satisfy the obligations secured by said trust deed and notice has been recorded pursuant to Section 86.735(3) of Oregon Revised Statutes: the default for which the foreclosure is made is the grantor°òs: Failure to pay the monthly payment due june 1, 2010 of principal and interest and subsequent installments due thereafter; plus late charges; together with all subsequent sums advanced by beneficiary pursuant to the terms and conditions of said deed of trust. Notice is further given that any person named in Section 86.753 of Oregon Revised Statutes has the right to have the foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the trust deed reinstated by payment to the beneficiary of the entire amount then due (other than such portion of said principal as would not then be due had no default occurred), together with the costs, trustee°òs and attorney°òs fees and curing any other default complained of in the Notice of Default by tendering the performance required under the obligation or trust deed, at any time prior to five days before the date last set for sale. In construing this notice, the masculine gender includes the feminine and the neuter, the singular includes plural, the word “grantor” includes any successor in interest to the grantor as well as any other persons owing an obligation, the performance of which is secured by said trust deed, the words “trustee” and “beneficiary” includes their respective successors in interest, if any. The City of La Grande invites competitive quotes for SIDEWALK BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT Adjacent to the 1100 Block of the Washington Avenue Parking Lot. The project will be to furnish all materials, labor and equipment to construct and complete all necessary items for construction of sidewalk, decorative concrete, curb, driveway approaches, installation of a water service, light pole bases, electrical meter base, conduit, ADA compliant Handicap Parking and landscaping as show in the plans and specifications.
Sealed quotes for the described project will be received by Charlie Mitchell, or his designee at the City of La Grande Community Development Department, 1000 Adams Avenue, La Grande, Oregon until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, and then publicly opened and read aloud the same day, at 2:05 p.m. at the Community Development Department.
The City of La Grande may reject any quote not in compliance with all prescribed requirements listed in the Contract Documents, and may reject for good cause any and all quotes upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
