Taking on water

To the Editor:

Who signs aboard a leaky vessel regardless of how allegedly sound at launching time?

Sometimes, if you man the pumps long enough, the ship can limp into port to effect repairs and put out to sea again before it sinks permanently — with heaven only knowing how many will go down with it for lack of life boats or jackets.

The bottom line being: they knew what they were getting into!

The Obama administration is taking on water. Possibly like no other before. It is clearly seeking safe haven and the pump could be a third party vote split in favor of, such as the ’92 election demonstrated. The severe disapproval of both Democrat and Republican demonstrates the time is ripe for a split among the voters. As there is to be a split, the question is “Who will be the wedge, knowing or otherwise, in 2012, and which party will it favor?”

Forewarned is forearmed.
