VA clinic ‘first-class’

To the Editor:

In early December, I had my first appointment with a VA doctor. In my 68-plus years, I have come to dread first-time medical appointments.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience.

I was finished in less than one hour and everyone there was more than helpful. Steve Fleury in reception; Jana Crow, the intake clerk; Tim Campbell, a lab tech; Sarah Gregg, RN; and Lehlia Stanton, MD, provided special attention and care.

The veterans of Northeast Oregon are lucky to have a first-class clinic located here in La Grande.
