Letters and comments for March 28, 2012

Leave mayor alone

I am so tired of being told I need to be politically correct.

I agree with the mayor and his comments and I know there will be a minority out there who think I am a horrible person because of it.

Sorry, you are wrong.

I do not hate anyone for their lifestyle choice, but I do not have to accept it.

I would never be mean or rude to anyone because of their lifestyle choice, but again I do not have to accept it.

I am not homophobic, I have acquaintances who are gay and lesbian, but I do not have to agree with them on their lifestyle choice.

I have always treated them just as I wanted to be treated but I still do not have to accept their lifestyle choice.

To me marriage is between a man and a woman, period, because the Bible tells me that.

God hates the sin, but loves the sinner. The mayor should be allowed to have his Christian beliefs without being reprimanded for it.

If someone from LGBT says something against Christianity, are we demanding they make a public apology? I would be offended so I think that would be appropriate.

Leave the mayor alone.
