Outlaws blast Knights for 49-12 victory

IRRIGON —Enterprise improved to 5-1 on the season with a 49-12 victory over Irrigon Friday.

The Outlaws are tied with Grant Union and Heppner for second place in the Blue Mountain Conference with 3-1 marks.

Stanfield is first with a 6-0 overall record and 4-0 record in conference.

The Outlaws used a bruising ground game to run past the Knights.

EHS had 329 yards rushing, led by Cody Duquette’s 224 yards on 20 carries.

Dustin Dean had 30 yards on four carries, Jordan Wulff had 27 yards on three attempts and Blu Risseeuw had 20 yards on six carries.

Wulff completed one of four passes for eight yards.

Defensively, Tristan Moorehouse had a team-high 10 tackles, while both Mathew Staigle and Duquette had six.

The Outlaws will take their show on the road this week.

EHS will travel to play Pilot Rock (3-4, 1-3) for a chance to hold its spot in the BMC with just three weeks left.

Game time is 7 p.m.
