She also placed second in the 200 freestyle (2:07.44) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.58).

Keegan Dutto dropped more than 80 seconds in his nine events combined, offering “the most impressive performance of the LGSC swimmers for this meet,” according to coach Darren Dutto.

Keegan took sixth in the 400 individual medley (5:12.75), 200 backstroke (2:29.26) and the 200 breaststroke (2:46.40).

He also placed eighth in the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle; ninth in the 200 freestyle; 10th in the 100 backstroke; 12th in the 100 freestyle and 16th in the 50 freestyle.

The La Grande Swim Club is hosting a fall developmental meet Saturday at Veterans Memorial Pool from 10 a.m. to noon.

LGSC will be competing against Walla Walla Swim Club and Baker YMCA Swim Club.

“A developmental meet is a smaller, half-day swim meet designed to help newer swimmers compete without the pressure of a large meet,” according to Coach Dutto.

There are 86 athletes scheduled to compete, including 34 from LGSC.
