Oakers trip up Enterprise for 65-12 win

OAKLAND — The Enterprise Outlaws lost a chance to have three Blue Mountain Conference teams in the second round of the 2A football playoffs Saturday, losing on the road to Oakland by a 65-12 margin.

Instead, the Outlaws joined BMC rival Stanfield with an early playoff exit.

Heppner and Grant Union both survived, with the Mustangs claiming an easy 55-29 win over Oakridge. The Prospectors edged Regis by a narrow 29-26 score.

Stanfield lost Friday night to Portland Christian 55-21,on the road at David Douglas High School.

Lost River edged Monroe in the first round, 20-18, in front of a home crowd.

In other 2A playoff action, Kennedy shutout Bonanza 57-0, Central Linn hammered Gaston 34-14 and Gold Beach defeated Knappa 14-8.
