Monday night, 5,000 Pacific Power customers around the region lost power at 10:38 p.m. Most were restored by 12:57 Tuesday morning, yet 44 individual homes in small groups around Enterprise, Joseph and Lostine are still without power this morning.

Crews are working to restore service that was interrupted by intense winds which, according the National Weather Service, will continue until 3 p.m. today. South winds of 25 to 40 mph are predicted with gusts up to 55 mph especially the south end of the Wallowa Valley. Winds may cause more power outages and down trees.
