Winterfest comes to Enterprise Friday and Saturday with caroling, wagon rides and the Lights Parade.

The fun starts Friday with participating stores staying open late. Look for special discounts and drawings at participating stores.

The ice rink opens for the season from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Grab your skates and head down to the Wallowa Valley Community Ice Rink in the Enterprise City Park.

Rides on a mule-drawn wagon and the North Pole Barrel Train will be offered throughout the afternoon starting at Warde Park and the Enterprise City Library is hosting story time from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday evening, community candlelight caroling will begin at 5:30 at Warde Park.

Both Friday and Saturday the Enterpriser Building on Main Street is the site of the Holiday Gift Market and Santa Central. Bring the kids to see Santa at the Enterpriser from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and get free pictures with the man in the red suit.

Saturday’s featured events are the Holiday Fudge Contest at 2 p.m. at Santa Central, the Enterprise City Fire Department Chili Feed at 4:30 p.m., and the Lights Parade at 5:30 p.m.

To enter the fudge contest, pick up an application at Bee Charmed or Favorite Finds.

Winners will be announced and the fudge auctioned directly following the Lights Parade.
