PENDELTON — With Union's Keesha Sarman on the bench for most of the first half in foul trouble, it was Regis that took an early lead and was able to hold it for a 60-48 decision Saturday in the Pendleton Convention Center.
Union made it to the championship game with a 64-51 victory over Blue Mountain Conference rival Heppner in Friday's semfinals.
Both Sarman and Kaci Langford fouled out of the game for Union. Sarman left with 18 points, while Lanford finished with five.
Regis' Jesse Morris led all scorers with 21 points as the Lady Ram's grabbed the crown with 26-3 record.
Regis had a 5-0 advantage over Union in 3-pointers for 15 points from outside.
