Tree, power line down on Hwy. 203

UPDATE: Hwy. 203 is now open to traffic.

Oregon Department of Transportation officials and Oregon State Police are directing traffic near milepost 9 on Hwy. 203.UPUPDATE 

ODOT officials said a tree went down and took out a power line with it during storms this afternoon. The downed tree has closed one lane of the highway. Drivers near milepost 9 of the highway should prepare for slowdowns.

UPDATE (3:45): OTEC spokesman Jim Horan says crews are onsite. The downed line has caused an outage for 19 members, Horan said. OTEC expects power to be restored within an hour.
