The Eastern Oregon University football team was selected sixth in the Frontier Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll Tuesday.

Defending Frontier Conference co-champion Montana Tech and Carroll College are the preseason favorites of the league's football coaches for the 2013 season.

Montana Tech and Southern Oregon tied for 2012 regular season title with 8-2 conference records. Due to the league's tie breaking procedures, Tech received the league's automatic bid to the national playoffs. Southern qualified as an at-large team.

Montana Tech received four first place votes, Carroll received three and Southern Oregon received one. Southern was picked to finish third followed by Rocky Mountain, Montana State-Northern, Eastern Oregon, Montana Western and Dickinson State.
