EOU falls to Montana Tech, 23-7

The Eastern Oregon University football team fell to No. 7 Montana Tech 23-7 Saturday at Community Stadium. The Mountaineers struggled on offense, finishing with just 223 yards of offense.

Quarterback Dominique Blackman made his EOU debut, completing 14 of 30 passes for 98 yards with two interceptions while battling sickness during the game.

Montana Tech finished wtih 412 yards of offense, with running back Pat Hansen leading the way with 180 yards rushing. Herman Tapley completed 31 of 44 passes for 217 yards and on touchdown.
