An Elgin man is now being accused by five victims of sex abuse, according to court documents.

Corey Dean Collins, 20, has been in the Union County Jail since Nov. 1, 2017, and his bail is now set at $820,000.

Collins faces seven counts of first-degree sex abuse, three counts of second-degree sex abuse, four counts of first-degree rape, one count of third-degree rape, one count of first-degree sodomy, one count of third-degree sodomy, one count of sexual penetration with an object, one count of fourth-degree assault and three counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor.

Four of the victims were minors at the time of the incidents, according to Union County District Attorney Kelsie McDaniel. At least two are younger than 16 years old, and one is listed as mentally incapacitated, according to court documents.
