Cayden DeLury won two races as the Joseph boys track team took second at the Weston-McEwen Small Schools Invitational Tuesday in Athena.

DeLury won the 100-meter dash (12.29) and the 200 (24.35), leading the Eagles to a total of 82.5 points. Kade Kilgore also earned a victory in the pole vault (9 feet, 6 inches).

Tyler Homan came in second in the 800 for the Eagles (2 minutes, 10.36 seconds), Ben Lopez was second in the shot put (37-feet-10-1/2) and T.J. Grote was second in the pole vault (9 feet even). Grote was also third in the triple jump (33-feet-10), Steven Beckman took third in the pole vault (8-feet-6) and Joseph’s 4-by-100 relay team took third (53.08).

Brandon McGilvray won the long jump at 18-feet-4 to lead Imbler, which took sixth with 46 points. He also took fourth in the javelin (140-feet-4). Logan Butcher was second in the 100 (13.08), Garrett Smith was came in fourth in both the discus
(87-feet-0-1/2) and the shot put (34-feet-11-1/2) and Calvin Martin was fourth in the 800 (2:19.69).

Seventh-place Enterprise (29 points) was led by Dylan Marr in the high jump (5-feet-2) and fifth-place effort by Matt McTee in both the discus (84-feet-10-1/2) and the shot put (33-feet-3-1/4), and Jacob Austin in the 1,500 (5:50.28).

Isabelle Tingelstad won the 800 (2:30.90) as the Joseph girls finished fourth with 83 points. Alexis Sykora won the high jump (4-feet-4) and took fourth in the 100 (14.55) and 200 (29.51). Ella Coughlan was second in the 800 (2:37.24), and Camille Crenshaw was second in the javelin (88-feet-4). Maddie Bailey came in third in the pole vault (7 feet even), Haley Miller finished third in the 400 (1:06.88), and fourth-place efforts went to Anna Ytander in the javelin (80-feet-3), and Johnelle Suto in the 400 (1:07.53).

Imbler took sixth (49 points). Malia Hassan won the 400 (1:04.21), took second in the 100 (14.20) and third in the 200 (28.79). Aspen Birkmaier won the pole vault (9 feet even) and the 4-by-100 relay team took fourth (57.42).

Enterprise took seventh with 25 points. Ashlyn Gray took second overall in the 100 hurdles (18.75), Carsyn Miller came in fourth in the high jump (4-feet-2), and Irina Baldessari finished fourth in the 300 hurdles (54.28) and fifth in the 100 hurdles (20.20).
