Eastbound lanes between Pendleton and Baker City closed at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the wake of a crash involving a semitruck 7 miles east of La Grande, near milepost 268. Other details of that crash were not available Tuesday night.
Later in the day, westbound lanes on I-84 were closed due to the wildfire, the 100-acre Tutuilla Church Road Fire, which is burning near the interstate about 11 miles southeast of Pendleton. The fire was first reported shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Watch Duty website.
