The Pacific Northwest Stockmanship and Stewardship event will be Oct. 8-9 in Ontario, Ore.

ONTARIO — The Pacific Northwest Stockmanship and Stewardship event scheduled for October in Ontario has been canceled.

A release from the Oregon Cattlemen's Association said the cancelation was due to the current COVID-19 circumstances in the state of Oregon.

"The planning committee for this event has postponed and rescheduled this event due to COVID-19 several times and it was the decision not to prolong postponement any further," the release said. "Oregon, Washington and Idaho partners will regroup in the future to plan for a new event when circumstances will better serve the ranchers and transporters for who the event is intended to benefit."

The event was scheduled for Oct. 8-9. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association will disperse full refunds to attendees who have already registered for the event.
