Chalk one up for social justice

Kip Roberson snapped this photo last week of the chalk writing he found adorning the concrete at Cook Memorial Library, La Grande. Roberson, who is the library director, said while the library does not support graffiti, it does stand for racial equity and social justice for all people. Rain during the weekend washed away the display.
