A La Grande man will be 66 years old the next time he is eligible to released from prison.

Last week, a 12-person jury found Jacob Pomerleau, 35, guilty on four counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of sexual abuse, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and incest.

“I’ve put shame on all of us,” Pomerleau said to Union County Judge Russell West before he was read his sentence late Thursday afternoon. He received 31 years and three months in prison without the possibility of parole.
