WALLOWA LAKE — The ground is broken and more than $350,000 from private donors raised for an integrated medical clinic going up on Enterprise’s Medical Parkway.

The immense fundraising effort for the new clinic culminated in the Hearts for Health dinner and auction at
Wallowa Lake Lodge Feb. 3.
Chantay Jett, Center for Wellness CEO, said the goal of the integrated services building is to eliminate barriers for those seeking mental health and other wellness services.

“We are hoping that by combining health and wellness services in one integrated building, talking about mental health, addictions and developmental disabilities will be as common and comfortable as talking about your cold symptoms,” Jett said.

When completed, the clinic will house primary medical, dental and mental health services with Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness and Winding Waters clinicians.

Some of the large donations, including $100,000 from an anonymous donor, had been secured before the dinner. Bridget Brown, Center for Wellness COO, said the capital campaign for the building received significant help from Mike Wilson of the consulting firm Westby Associates.
