UNION — The Union City Council will meet May 6. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at city hall. The Fulton Street project will be discussed.
Cattlemen consider Wolf Plan review
ISLAND CITY — Union County Cattlemen will have a business meeting beginning at 7 p.m. May 6 at the Ag Service Center, 10507 N. McAlister Road, Island City. Information will be available for those who want to comment on the review of the Wolf Conservation Plan. The meeting is open to the public.
Imbler School District Budget Committee convenes
IMBLER — The Imbler School District Budget Committee will meet for its first session at 7 p.m. May 7 in Room 1 of Imbler High School. The committee will receive the 2019-20 proposed budget and message. This meeting is open to the public.
Info session on transportation targets older Americans
LA GRANDE — As part of Older Americans Month, the Union County Senior Center is hosting a free informational session on public and medical transportation at noon May 7 at 1504 N. Albany St.,

Union SWCD Board meets next week
ISLAND CITY — The Union Soil and Water Conservation District Board will meet at 7 p.m. May 8 in the conference room of the Union County Extension Office, 10507 N. McAlister Road, Island City. Principal subjects to be discussed are monthly financial statements, staff reports and partner agency reports. Help kids cope with divorce, separation
LA GRANDE — Learn how divorce or separation impacts your children and what you can do to help them at a workshop offered from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. May 16 at the Union County Courthouse, 1105 K Ave., La Grande. The workshop is facilitated by Mary Lu Pierce and sponsored by the Family Law Advisory Committee. Cost is $30 per person (cash or check only). The fee may be waived by prior order of the court, or if attendance occurs prior to or within 45 days of filing for custody, dissolution, separation or modification.
