COVE — The Cove City Council will discuss a number of agenda items on Tuesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at Cove City Hall, 504 Alder St.
Under new business the city council will discuss approving an insurance quote for Cove Clean-Up Day.
In addition, the council will wrap up old business from prior meetings. They will discuss the draft of the renewal with Ziply Franchise, approving the copier contract for the upcoming year with Eagle Office Concepts, and next steps with a vacation on Alder Street.
Cove Public Works Director Dave Johnson will provide an update on the status of two grants.
The City Council Working Committee will present reports on a transportation system plan, the municipal court and a hiring committee.
Councilors will also discuss the upcoming budget cycle, such as the Budget Officer’s goals, the upcoming budget committee meeting and the upcoming budget hearing. The budget committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 9 and the budget hearing for June 6.
