La Grande Parks and Recreation hosting walking tour to discuss accessibility between parks

LA GRANDE — Want to learn about the parks around La Grande while also helping to assess the walkability between them?

La Grande Parks and Recreation will be hosting a walking park tour on Thursday, June 15, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page. The tour will start at 6 p.m. at Birnie Park, on C Avenue near Sixth Street, before walking over to Sunnyhill Park, at the corner of Aquarius and Gemini streets.
