PENDLETON — Geoffrey Donovan will discuss how exposure to the natural environment — particularly trees — is associated with a wide range of positive health outcomes during the March Climate Conversation Program.

A research forester with the Pacific Northwest Research Station, Donovan will present “Life, Death and Trees” on Tuesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. He said there is increasing scientific evidence to support his claim, including a pair of studies that focused on trees and human mortality.
