Mountaineers learn pool opponents

Pool includes No. 2 Viterbo, No. 17 Georgetown


No. 15 Eastern Oregon will have a tough battle ahead of it in pool play at next week's NAIA National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, it learned over the weekend.

EOU's pool includes No. 2 Viterbo (Wisc.) a team that enters with a 34-1 record. The pool also includes No. 17 Georgetown (Kent.) and Our Lady of the Lake (Tex.).

Eastern opens with Georgetown Nov. 28, a team the Mountaineers defeated a season ago. They meet Our Lady of the Lake Nov. 29 and wrap up with Viterbo Nov. 30.
