Heidi Niezen had 13 kills and six block, and Enterprise shook off a bad first set to earn a back-and-forth Wapiti League victory over Imbler Tuesday, 11-25, 30-28, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13.

“Despite a terrible first set and several missed serves throughout the match, my Outlaws gals got the job done,” head coach Lisa Farwell said. “They played with hustle and fire and just never quit.”

Reece Christman added 21 digs on defense for the Outlaws.

Imbler was led by Allie Slater, who had 18 kills. Hannah Kilpatrick added 14 kills and team-highs of 23 digs and five aces, and Katelyn Stirewalt recorded 38 assists.

Enterprise (7-11 overall, 3-4 Wapiti) wraps up the regular season Friday at Union, while Imbler (5-13, 3-4) heads to Grant Union Friday.

Union buries Elgin: The Bobcats earned their 17th win of the season in convincing fashion with a 25-14, 25-2, 25-11 victory over Elgin Tuesday in Wapiti League play.

Union (17-2 overall, 5-1 Wapiti) hosts Enterprise Friday. Elgin (4-15, 0-8) visits the La Grande JV Monday.


Elgin edges La Grande JV: The Huskies took the first two sets, then had to hold on for a home victory over the La Grande JV Monday, 25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 9-25, 15-12.
